Update as of 5/5/2024

Hello,

I hope everyone had a good week while I was out. I missed seeing you all and working in a classroom, though my trip was both busy and fun!  This week, we will wrap up our insect learning and next week we will have a day of review and a day of celebration of learning.  We will then start our unit  "Transition to a New School Year". We will highlight change practices as some children will move into kindergarten and many may be changing schools or classrooms next year.  We will work on solidifying current knowledge, following the children's interests, and building friendship skills. I will continue to develop slides and post lessons.

 Upcoming dates:

5/6/2024:  Year-End Teaching Strategies Gold assessments and IEP progress notes will go home for students.  I will have some availability for conferences on 5/10/2024 for students going to kindergarten next year if there are any questions on reports.

5/6/2024-5/10/2024-Teacher appreciation week

5/8/2024:  Bike to school day...if you're interested or live close by :)

5/10/2024: Please let me know if you would like an optional conference ASAP and I can schedule for this date.

5/27/2024: No school; Memorial Day
