Important Notes, Q&A:

Q. How long does it take?

A. See each section to see how long the tutorial video will be if you watch it through without pausing. (I hope you do pause when you need to!!) You can also get credit for "doing the work" when you fill out the verification form at the bottom of the page.

Q. Can educators do this together?

A. You may choose to do it with a group of educators, but EACH person will need to open and submit the Google verification form (bottom of the page) under their own email address and EACH person will need to complete the final project requirements (if applicable). When you are ready to watch the videos, you may choose to do it on your own, or with a group. With a group, you may want to have one person play the video and have others watch it.

Q. Can I watch the videos in Full Screen mode?

A. Yes! Once the opens in YouTube, you can click the icon in the bottom-right corner to watch it full-screen; just be sure to come back to this page to complete the PD.

Q. What if the video is going too fast for me, or I want to try something as I go along?

A. That is exactly what I hope you do! :) If you need support while watching the videos and trying out what is covered, you can always go back and restart the videos, pause them, etc. That is one of the main reasons that I broke it up into shorter videos, rather than one long video. Also, some sessions have a Google slide presentation too.

Q. Do I have to do these sessions in order?

A. FORMS & SITES: Yes. This is one big session broken down into "chunks" so it really won't make sense to watch it out of order. However, you can always just re-watch a video or two if you need a refresher instead of watching them all again.

A. CLASSROOM: That is completely up to you, but definitely start with GC-O1- GC-O6 in that order. The others are as needed.
