Welcome to kindergarten! My name is Mrs. Beckford and I will be your child's teacher. This year marks the start of your child's academic journey, and I'm so excited to be a part of it. I understand school may be new for some students, so I do my best to create a comfortable and positive learning environment. You will not believe how much your child will grow this school year. We have lots planned and I can't wait to meet you and your family! I look forward to working with you this year!
About Me
I am a Rhode Island native, born and raised in Providence. In 2012 I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I also have a M.Ed degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Rhode Island College. This year will be my 11th year teaching kindergarten!
