Learning this year will look at lot different than it did in the Spring. Last Spring was crisis learning and both teachers and students were not have time to fully prepared for the instruction that took place . This year teachers have received training on virtual learning and expectations are the same as they would be in the classroom. GRADES WILL COUNT!

Student Expectations

Engage in a full day learning

Engage daily in real-time

Participate in class discussions and regular communication with the teacher(s)

Required to submit all work based on timelines outlined by the teacher(s)

Receive grades for behavior and effort

Parent Expectations

Ensure that their student(s) has the necessary equipment and internet access to participate in virtual learning

Ensure that their student(s) follows his or her assigned schedule each day

Ensure that all tests and work intended to be completed independently is completed by their student without the aid of others

Parent Access

For the first time Parents can now sign up for access to our student learning management system called Canvas. You will be able to:

  • Use Inbox to message teachers

  • View Canvas Course Grades & Feedback (teachers may have grades from Canvas feed directly intoPowerSchool)

  • Get alerts for missing assignments or poor grades

  • View Assignment descriptions

  • Get Alerts from course announcements

  • See the course calendars
