Support Staff Professional Development Committee
Purpose Statement:
The Pattonville Support Staff Professional Development Committee (SSPDC) offers support staff the opportunity to receive assistance in funding for professional development to further their success in their work and/or job.
Structure:
The committee is volunteer based and is not a committee based on PESP membership. The committee will consist of one member from each support staff category: Secretary, Clerk, Nurse, Food Service, Maintenance, Custodial, Transportation, Parents as Teachers, Para-professional, Technology and Printing. The PESP President will also serve on the committee and appoint one additional representative to the committee. The Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning, or designee, will serve as ex-officio member of the committee and provide administrative support and assistance. Support personnel will be elected by their peers. The Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning or designee is responsible for coordinating the election selection process.
