This site provides helpful information about the SCIENCE FAIR and how to create your own science fair project.
New for 2026, students are allowed to enter projects as Physical Boards to be judged at Webster University.
Electronic projects are still acceptable.
Important Dates to Remember
Rose Acres Science Fair (includes PEGS)
Dec 16 (6:30pm-7:00pm) - Science Fair Info Night on Zoom

Dec 19 thru March 2 - Research Plans are required and must be submitted and approved by Rose Acres staff BEFORE starting a project or experiment
Students are allowed to submit a group project with a maximum of 2 students
Research Plans can be submitted to Mr. Suvansri (rsuvansri@psdr3.org). PEGS students can submit plans to Mrs. Bennett (abennett@psdr3.org).
March 23 - Digital and Physical Projects are due for scoring this week by Rose Acres Staff members
Projects should be shared as Google Docs/Slides, PDF's, or Physical Boards to Mr. Suvansri. PEGS students can share to Mrs. Bennett.

Google Slides - Project Presentation
Google Docs - Logbook [Photos are highly encouraged; please no photos of your student's faces]
Google Docs - QUAD Chart

March 24 thru April 9 - Projects are scored and awards are presented to Rose Acres students. Date for Awards Presentation is TBD
Projects awarded a Purple Ribbon from Rose Acres automatically qualify for the St. Louis Regional Science Fair. This will be anywhere from 5-10 projects.
FUN PRIZES AND SHIP POINTS WILL BE AWARDED TO PARTICIPATING STUDENTS!!! PRIZES INCLUDE:

St. Louis Regional Science Fair
April 4 - Deadline for Student Registration (Mr. Suvansri and Mrs. Bennett will do this)
April 14 - Projects must be registered and uploaded
For online judging use this Registration Link (Mr. Suvansri & Mrs. Bennett will assist)
**NEW** Physical Project Boards can be submitted this year to Webster University for judging (TBA)
April 20/21 - Physical projects can be dropped off at Webster University
April 15 thru April 25 - K-12 Online project judging and special awards are presented to students
Volunteers are welcome to help with scoring!!
May 6 - Ribbons and awards are announced for the St. Louis Region
Awards include a contribution to your student's MOST 529 Education Plan
Up to $40,000 in scholarships will be available
