Heights' School Counselors follow their students throughout their middle school career. School Counselors work to maximize student success, promoting access and equity for all students. As vital members of the school leadership team, School Counselors create a school culture of success for all. Counselors assist students with scheduling needs, career planning, problem solving, emotional and social skill building, testing, facilitating student support groups and a wide variety of other student services.

Additional support is available through our School Social Worker. School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals who can assist with mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, positive behavioral support, academic, and classroom support, consultation with teachers, parents, and administrators as well as provide individual and group counseling/therapy.
