Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad
is a national competition dedicated to advancing student skills in STEM. A team is comprised of up to 15 students. Those students work in teams of 2 or 3 to test, build or demonstrate their knowledge & skill in 23 events. Events cover life, physical, earth & space and engineering sciences.
LMS teams practice after school from 3-4:30. We start on Tuesdays in September and add Wednesdays in October once teams and events are determined. See the Divison B-Middle School link below for more LMS specific information
PHS teams practice Saturday mornings from 10-12. We understand that there are countless activities to be involved in. We aim to balance a requirement to attend practice with an understanding that you will practice at home if you are in a busy season of sports or other activities.
