Darius the Great is not Okay

-Reviewed by Jackson E.

"Darius The Great is Not Okay" is a phenomenally inspiring book by Adib Khorram. The book teaches the reader about the importance of communication, the effects depression can have on a person, the importance of friends, and how one can learn more about who they are as a person. From beginning to end, Darius is a great main character who struggles with many hardships, but perseveres and finds his way out into the light, along with the help of Sohrab. Sohrab is another amazing character, acting as a beacon for Darius to follow to help him become more comfortable in Iran and with who he is. All in all, Adib Khorram’s “Darius The Great is Not Okay” is an incredible read, filled with inspiration and heart.

I love this book so much. It has so many plot twists and you'll never want to put it down! I have reread this book 9 times (and counting) and there's always new details I catch every time. I live the characters and the author develops them in a way that will keep you rooting for them. Every chapter has a cliffhanger, you'll never want to put this book down. PLEASE read it!!!! It's really good and it has something for everyone- romance, mystery, magic, and action.
