Introduction
National AI Challenge is a competition that empowers students from Year 5 to Form 5 (11 to 17 years old) in Malaysia to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly in solving problems within their communities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will develop functional projects that positively impact society.

Track 1
Build a functional solution using machine learning or block-based programming tools such as Machine Learning for Kids and Scratch to tackle an SDG-related challenge.
Track 2
Track 2
Develop a functional AI-powered mobile application using MIT App Inventor to tackle an SDG-related challenge.

Eligibility
Eligibility
Only students aged 11 to 17 (Standard 5 to Form 5)
Two (2) students per group (must be in the same school).
Interest in AI and machine learning or AI and mobile apps project development.
There is no limit to the number of projects submitted by each school. However, each team can ONLY participate in one project.
Please review the eligibility, requirements, criteria, rules & regulations, and submission guidelines for each competition as outlined in the “Final Project Submission” section.

Selected teams must submit their functional AI project and a 3–5-minute presentation video through the official Final Project Submission Form.
