Introduction
National AI Challenge is a competition that empowers students from Year 5 to Form 5 (11 to 17 years old) in Malaysia to apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) responsibly in solving problems within their communities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Students will develop functional projects that positively impact society.
Competition Tracks
Build a solution using Machine Learning tools (e.g., Machine Learning for Kids) or utilize block-based platforms (e.g., Scratch) or BOTH to address an SDG-related issue.
Develop an AI-powered mobile application using MIT App Inventor to tackle an SDG-related challenge.
Competition Timeline
Competition Information
Only students aged 11 to 17 (Standard 5 to Form 5)
Two (2) students per group (must be in the same school).
Interest in AI and machine learning or AI and mobile apps project development.
There is no limit to the number of projects submitted by each school. However, each team can ONLY participate in one project.

In this competition, students are invited to propose creative and fun AI-powered project ideas that showcase their understanding of artificial intelligence using tools such as machine learning or mobile apps (MIT App Inventor).
