Block Site

Some parents have found that the Chrome Browser extension, Block Site, offers them some control over what younger students can access on their Chromebooks. Parents can block student access to distracting or unproductive websites. 

Block Site allows parents to create a password protected list of sites that are blocked from student access and/or set a schedule for when these sites are blocked (ie. school day). Block Site will also block sub domains.

Block Site is a Chrome extension that can be downloaded on any student Chromebook.

Note: 5/23/2023: If you are currently running an older or different version of Block Site, you'll need to remove the extension before installing this newer version (with Red Icon).
