Mac Self-Service Portal

Staff members can add printers, install some approved apps, and update software in the Self-Service app. No administror password is needed. The Self-Service app is installed on all Brookline issued Macbooks. 

Step 1: Launch the Portal App

Find the Self-Service application in the Applications menu.  Double-click to open it. 

Step 2: Browse the list

Browse by printers, or applications. Click to install a named printer that is closest or most convenient for you. 

Step 3: Install Printers or Applications

Self-Service contains applications that have active license and allow installtion without an administrator password. 

Step 4: Update the Chrome Browser

Self-Service contains the latest  version of the Chrome Browser.  Click "Reinstall" to update. This update will often solve browser issues such as the Canvas grade pages not displaying.
