Painting foundations is the place to start for any student who wants to learn more about the historied craft of painting. During the course of this class, students will work in various painting mediums including watercolors, acrylic paint, oil paint and ink. Students will explore the basics of color theory, paint mixing, composition and the various other steps required to create a finished painting. Students will also learn about multiple art movements and painters throughout history. This course will equip you with the tools to continue on the lifelong journey of painting.
