Special Projects:
Rainbow Club’s
Weaving Symbols of Inclusion Project
Community Project
The Rainbow Club is excited to announce we are launching our first project. The “Weaving Symbols of Inclusion” art project is a temporary art installation on the fence in front of the school. Rainbow club members are going to create hearts and symbols of inclusion.
We will start the installation during our Rainbow Club meeting Monday, April 26th from 2:30-3:15. Starting Tuesday, April 27th- April 30th, community members are invited to add to the art project. Bring some yarn/ribbons and come down with your family before or after school! Let’s celebrate our Community!
What We Need
We are asking for students and their families to bring in yarn to donate towards our project. Yarn/ribbons can be in all colors and lengths. Feel free to donate scraps you have laying around the house! We are collecting yarn/ribbons from now through April 16th.
Where Do I Drop It Off?
There will be a box in front of the school and one in front of the gym.
