This class will provide students the essential musical skills necessary to play jazz, rock and contemporary pop/hiphop. Students will play, rehearse, analyze and perform a variety of songs, and develop the musical vocabulary that will help them learn how to improvise over the music. Students will perform regularly during the class with a great deal of time to fine tuning their playing and musical understanding.
