1.A more comprehensive Tracer Study is encouraged to include majority of the graduates in order to get a reliable results that may greatly help the department to further improve the teaching and learning process and gain insight on the problems encountered by graduates in pursuing their careers after graduation and consequently address these concerns.

2. It is suggested that a review of the present curriculum be considered immediately before the start of Second Semester AY 2018-2019 to comply with CMO 62, series of 2017. The following measures may be done:

a. include the 6 units of Tourism and Hospitality Core Courses during the first year level as stipulated in CMO

b. consider removing hospitality management elective subjects that duplicates what could be learned from the hospitality professional courses

c. consider additional 3 units of research subjects. It will be difficult to make a complete manuscript considering time constraint if it will be offered in semester only. The University may follow the standard operating procedures in reviewing the curriculum.

d. Repositioning of subjects will help in the proper identification of prerequisite courses and at the same time identify redundancy.

e. Course description for the major courses may be thoroughly analysed in order to come up with more comprehensive specialized subjects that will meet the desired program objectives. Moreover, it may be necessary to merge courses that will deliver the same outcomes.

f. It is recommended that those in the hospitality industry be invited if curriculum will be reviewed even on an informal meeting. Industry partners are very vital in providing recent trends in the hospitality industry that can be used in curriculum enhancement.

3.Faculty members may require students to do more case studies to enhance higher-order thinking skills to include problem-solving skill

4.A Property Management System (PMS) may be adopted to equip students with skills necessary in Front Office Procedures. This could be done in collaboration with the Information Technology Program. Further, this will greatly help the University in its application to become an accredited TESDA Assessment Center.

5.Researches such as correlation studies and impact evaluation regarding academic performance of faculty and students may be included in the research agenda of the department

6.The department may consider conducting seminar workshops to reinforce teaching methodologies such as TOS, rubrics, enhanced OBE seminars, test constructions and the likes. These topics will remind faculty members of the importance of their teaching profession in assessing student performance.

7.Documents for the different areas may be obtained properly to validate each benchmark statements. The assistance of the senior accreditors could also be sought to mentor the local task force.

8.The research output of faculty members may be published in CHED refereed journals

9.The Program head may seek accreditation and membership of students in various national associations. These are vital in obtaining issues and concerns of the hospitality industry and further help them obtain new trends relevant to their profession.

10.The present OBE syllabi may be further enhanced following Article VIl page 28 of CMO 62. series of 2017.
