Mrs. Hurley's Classroom

Greetings! My name is Juli Hurley and I am looking forward to teaching our awesome middle schoolers in our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA classes! This will be my 6th year in education and my second at the middle school level. I am super excited to work with these amazing kids and watch them grow and learn in so many ways! Our focus will be on reading (short stories, novels, and poetry), writing (narrative, essays, persuasive/argumentative writing, poetry, informational, dialogue, etc.), grammar, research, and social studies (for 6th). I have been lucky to have started with Fulton Heights from the beginning and envision a great year ahead with lots of fun and learning! I love to teach and I love seeing kids find those AHA moments!
