Hello P.S .99 Parents and Students!

As the Guidance Counselor at P.S. 99, my role is to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Students well-being is an important part of academic and educational achievement. Together with administration, teachers, and parents, my position allows me to work with our students to identify ways in which they can become successful inside and outside of the classroom. Developing life skills, and values will allow our students to succeed as children and later as adults. At P.S. 99, we want every student express themselves in a safe environment.

We are changing from our traditional educational instruction to a more remote learning experience. It's important that we stay in contact with one another to express our concerns, share resources, and to continue the connections we have established in the school environment. In order to make myself available for students and families during this new chapter of learning, I will provide resources such as articles, websites, worksheets, activities, and videos on Class Dojo and the PS 99 main website. These materials will be to help provide stability during this time.
