The P.S.69 PAWS & PURRS Club members, in conjunction with For Blake's Sake Rescue, Inc., work tirelessly to ensure that every animal that they help to foster is well cared for and that each animal is placed into a loving home. In addition to socializing and caring for the animals, the students write animal bios for adoption websites, create and maintain Amazon wish lists, and make suggestions as to how they think they can help further.
In the P.S.69 PAWS & PURRS Club, our mission is to give rescue pets a second chance and to empower students to create change in their community.
The kids learn and, in turn, teach others how important love, compassion and devotion is for each animal to be properly cared for during their lifetime. These kids, along with the rescue, promote the "Adopt- Don't Shop" movement, and leaders and heroes in the animal rescue community you would like to help support our club in other ways, you can view our Amazon WishList and order much needed care items to help us help the animalsโโโโโโโ. Your involvement sends a very important message to all of our children!
