Take this national geographic quiz with a grown up (or test out your reading skills on your own!) and find out what kind of shark matches your style! I got the dwarf lantern shark. They are bioluminescent, which is a fancy way to say that they glow!
Different kinds of trees have different names, and special parts that make them unique. The above Tree ID sheet is a list of five kinds of tree that can be seen around Carroll Gardens. Bring the sheet printed out, or on a screen. Look out your window or front door and see if you can find one of the trees on the list! Bring it on a drive or walk and see if you can spot all five.

After a lovely afternoon spent drawing Pokemon with a friend, I created a tutorial for drawing one pokemon both I and my friend really like. Here is a step-by-step guide to draw Rockruff, the rock puppy pokemon. This pokemon evolves into Lycanroc, who looks like a big fluffy wolf! It is important to draw this with a pencil, and not a marker, as there are two times you may need to erase parts of your lines. Enjoy!

Search around your home to find something of every color in the wheel. A basic color wheel has red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Some people like to say "violet" instead of "purple," and both are correct. Violet and purple have the same home on the color wheel: between blue and red.
In my home, I spotted a red apple, an orange dinosaur, yellow batteries and pencils, a green plant, blue dice and pen, and purple clover flowers.
What can you find? What colors do you see a lot in your home? What colors do you only see a little? Do you have a favorite color in your home?
Dress up as a crayon! (I chose the yellow crayon.) See if you can make a whole outfit using only one color. Which crayon color is your favorite? Have a crayon party with your family, dress up as different crayons and dance your heart out, then head over to Mr. Bob Reads and listen to his read-aloud of The Day The Crayons Quit!
Here's a short, color-themed dance mix if you're looking for crayon party songs.
