NYCID Afterschool
NYCID at P.S.21, located in Port Richmond, offers a robust after school program year-round from September to June Monday-Friday from 1:50-4:50 3 hours daily. Our after school program provides care and support to grades k-5 in a rich atmosphere that promotes opportunities for academic growth and recreation, arts and crafts, college and career readiness, and social, emotional learning. We expand on each child's' capabilities and empower them to strive to be their best.
Counselors and specialists work incredibly hard to ensure that our young people learn while having fun through hands-on activities as they are provided with opportunities to create and explore. We provide homework assistance, tutoring, virtual field trips, and exciting stem-based activities along with hands-on project-based activities aligned with educational standards. Being a member of the NYCID afterschool program can lead to endless opportunities, and we look forward to supporting you in your academic endeavors while providing relief to families during this time.
