Fall 2026 Registration Letter

Hello Mosaic families!

I am so proud to welcome you all to Mosaic’s 9th! Mosaic is P.S. 20’s PTA-run after-school program serving the PS. 20 community. We hope you had a fun and restful summer break filled with time spent with loved ones. As we prepare for your child’s afterschool journey, the beginning of the school year is a very special time and I am looking forward to helping your child learn and grow. We can’t wait to welcome back old students and are thrilled to greet new P.S. 20 families. Our Program Assistants are excited to have the opportunity to serve your family for Fall 2026. From 2:40-6pm, your child will participate in a number of fun activities led by Mosaic Program Assistants, DOE teachers and vendors, receive some homework assistance, and play with friends.

Ahead of our first day of Mosaic after care for Pre-k to 5th grade, here are a few reminders:

Please notify classroom teachers what day(s) your child(ren) will be attending Mosaic.

Please visit the Mosaic website to get an idea what our Fall schedule looks like (as always, the schedule is subject to change).

Below is our daily routine:

• 2:40–4pm – Pick up/Snack/ Homework assistance 

• 4–5pm – Enrichment activities 

• 5–6pm – Free play & Dismissal

Scholarships:

The scholarship application for Fall 2026 school semester is now available (please feel free to reach out to Mosaic if you have any questions/concerns). Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you are notified that you qualify for a scholarship, you will have one week to submit a full application. Mosaic cannot guarantee spots if you do not apply within this timeframe. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, if a spot is available, you will receive an award letter. Scholarships are on a rolling basis, if a slot becomes available, you will be notified depending on your timeslot.

Outside Childcare/Walk Home Service:

Please email jestina.eubanks@ps20.org to make arrangements with your favorite Program Assistant.

Pricing: Mosaic will continue to use the new tiered tuition system implemented Fall 2021! We have instituted this system in an effort to better serve the entire PS 20 community, while also continuing to raise much-needed funds for the school. Tiered pricing ranges from $31/day to $0/day. We will continue to have discounts for families who sign up for multiple days.

Safety:

Mosaic programs will follow current NYC Department of Education and NYS Department of Health guidelines on public health safety protocols.
