RACE MECHANICS
1. Each participant must wear their issued Singlet and Race Bib.
2. For protection, runners are encouraged to wear sunglasses, a bandana, or a face mask.
3. Each participant must bring his/her own water bottle.
4. Those with special medical conditions/needs are advised to coordinate with or inform the organizers for further instructions.
5. In all phases of the Fun Run, observance of the minimum health and safety protocols is a must.
GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Arrive at least one (1) hour before the start time for registration including COVID-19 screening protocols:

2. Proceed to the designated “HEALTH SCREENING AND REGISTRATION” area for registration and present the email confirmation from One PS-DBM Fun Run organizers.
3. Participants are required to run the designated route. Alteration of the run course will warrant immediate disqualification.
4. Use of music devices (headphones, earbuds, earplugs Air pods, iPod, or a radio communication device, including a cellular phone) while running is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This is so the participants can hear commands from marshals and race officials.
5. Skating, cycling, and bringing pets are not permitted.
6. Organizers are not liable for any accident, injury, loss, or death that may result from participating in the One PS-DBM Fun Run. A waiver that states the same shall also be signed by the participant.
7. The One PS-DBM Fun Run will take place regardless of the weather conditions and will only be cancelled, re-routed, or stopped for reasons of safety. In this event, entry fees are not refundable.
8. Every participant shall run carefully and with due regard to the safety of others on the road.
9. Every participant shall immediately comply with the instructions of any of the organizers, marshals, and/or traffic officers.
10. Every participant shall provide information that may be requested by any of the organizers and/or marshals.
11. Every participant is responsible for attaching their race numbers to the front of his/her shirt, and it shall be legibly displayed at all times, from start to finish.
12. In case of emergency, any of the organizers and/or marshalls shall be immediately notified by any of the participants who can provide information about the incident.
13. Participants are required to complete the One PS-DBM Fun Run course within the race times found below. The race time begins when the organizer starts the race clock. The One PS-DBM Fun Run event has exclusive rights to utilize the course road space for the duration of the activity.

14. Participants shall ensure that they pass through the start, finish, and designated U-turn areas accordingly.
15. Participants shall not use foul or offensive language or make offensive, indecent, or inappropriate gestures. Any participant who exhibits misconduct shall be called out and therefore must cease to run the course.
16. “Gun Time” will be considered to determine the winners. Elite participants are advised to be ready at the starting line at least 15 minutes before gun time and are encouraged to stay at the front line of the assembly area.
17. Smoking within the premises is strictly prohibited at all times.
18. Participants shall only start in his/her designated race category upon the go signal. Failure to do so may be a ground for disqualification.
19. A participant shall complete his/her designated race course with his/her own effort and without any assistance from other runners, unless otherwise needed except for children below twelve (12) years old as well as senior citizens.
20. A participant shall not run for a second time after finishing unless he/she has obtained permission or complied with the requirements of the organizer/s.
21. A participant shall provide assistance to another runner only when necessary such as in cases of emergency.
22. Participants are strictly prohibited to take part in the event if he/she is under the influence of alcohol, drug substances, or any medication that can temporarily impair any of the senses.
23. Any medical or emergency assistance costs incurred on behalf of a participant by the organizers will be for the cost of the runner.
24. Designated routes will be discussed to all participants. As such, it is the responsibility of participants to memorize and follow the routes. No time adjustments will be reflected in the results for those who fail to follow the designated course for any reason whatsoever.
25. Only the finishers of the race categories can claim their finisher’s shirt.
26. Race numbers are non-transferable.
27. Failure to comply with any of the event rules may be a ground for disqualification.
28. The One PS-DBM Fun Run reserves the right to change the details of the event, including delaying, canceling, or suspending the race due to inclement weather or potential safety risks. Participants must retire at once from the race if ordered to do so by event officials, medical staff, or any governmental authority, including the police officers.
HEALTH SCREENING AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
1. Temperature scan checks will be conducted upon arrival at the event area. Any person with a body temperature reading above 37.5 degrees C will not be permitted to join the run.
2. Wearing a face mask is voluntary.
3. As far as practicable, physical distancing must still be maintained except when running as a family and/or group coming from the same household or bubble.
4. Practice regular hand disinfection.
FACILITIES
Baggage Counter
A designated baggage counter is available in the event. Counters will only accept items secured in bag(s). Whilst maximum care and security. Whilst maximum care and security will be enforced, the organizer will not be responsible for any lost or damaged items, or delay in the retrieving the bags. Participants are advised to arrive 1 hour before their start time.
First Aid Station
An Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team is on standby to respond to any medical situation at the start and finish line areas. Please alert or tap any of the marshals or medical responders should there be a need for medical attention. Participants can also contact the EMS through the numbers indicated in the race bib.
Food and Beverage
Food and drinks are available at the finish line. Water stations are situated in designated areas all throughout the run course.
Sanitation Area
Sanitation areas are available at the start and finish line areas and at designated stations. Participants are encouraged to sanitize regularly.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
1. Each participant acknowledges the risks and hazards that exist in an event of this nature.
2. Each participant attends, enters, and/or participates in the event entirely at his/her own risk.
3. Each participant is obliged to strictly adhere to all applicable rules, directives, and instructions of the organizers in respect of the event.
4. Each participant accepts that the One PS-DBM Fun Run organizers and all other affiliates (hereinafter referred to as ENTITIES) accept no responsibility or liability for and agree to indemnify ENTITIES from and against, any loss, damage, injury, disability, death, expense, cost or liability of whatsoever nature suffered by the runner, his/her estate and/or his/her dependents which in any manner, in whole or in part, arise directly or indirectly from his/her participation in the event or any of the activities associated therewith or incidental thereto, use of facilities and/or amenities or by reason of defective material or equipment or by way of any human or mechanical error, default or failure or from any other cause whatsoever except upon proof that such loss, damage, injury, disability or death, expense, cost or liability was due to the negligence of any or all of the above named ENTITIES in which event ENTITIES potential liability shall be limited to any claim which falls within the ambit of and indemnity limits of ENTITIES respective insurance policies.
PROTESTS
1. Any participant who wish to lodge a protest regarding the decision of the race official or marshal, and/or the behavior of another participant must file a written protest coursed through the Race Director within 30 minutes of completing or withdrawing from the race.
2. A protest fee of Php 1,000.00 shall be required. In the event that the protest is upheld, the protest fee may be refunded.
3. Whatever the decision of the Race Director/Organizing Committee will be is deemed final.
SEVERABILITY
If one or more of these terms are found to be unenforceable, such terms shall be deemed to be severable from the remainder of the terms and the remaining terms shall in all other respects remain in full force and effect.
