The Pryor High School E-Sports Program is an after school competitive e-sports program for students in 9th-12th grade. E-sports utilizes video gaming platforms to help learners acquire skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, and critical problem solving. By engaging students in competitive video gaming, students acquire real-world collaboration skills through interest-driven learning. Tournaments and matches consist of 1-5 players competing on solo or team video game platforms, like Overwatch, League of Legends, and Rocket League. Participants will need to meet eligibility requirements set forth by the Oklahoma E-Sports League (OESL) and the North America E-Sports Scholastic Federation (NASEF) as well as being in good standing with Pryor High School. Participants will meet at the MidAmerica Center of Excellence building, in the Pryor Public Schools Manufacturing Education room.
