IHA-P0 - Provincial Standards Tests - Storm Days

The Department of Education and Advanced Learning mandates the dates for Provincial Standards Tests.  If school is cancelled due to inclement weather on these days, the Administration has developed the following policy:

If it is determined that it is unsafe for school buses in an area to run, it should therefore be unsafe for students to travel.  In the case of school being closed for students on a mandated Provincial Standards Test day, the test shall not be written on the scheduled day in that area, but will be written the next appropriate school day, as a local examination, after it has been determined whether there will be a provincial storm date.
