Home Bound

The Board expects the schools to make provision for temporarily home bound students to keep up with the main topics in their program.

Home Schooling

In cases where parents/guardians wish to carry on the instructional program in the home, it is their responsibility to seek and to obtain permission from Manitoba Education and Advanced Learning to do so. In those situations, the parents/guardians and the individual(s) or institution doing the programming accept the responsibility for the child’s education.  The schools in Prairie Spirit School Division reserve the right to determine the grade placement of children returning to them after home schooling.  (See also JD)
