GCU-P1 - Part Time and Substitute Professional Staff Employment

Part time professional staff shall be employed under the terms of the Collective Agreement.

Substitute Teachers will be employed by the Division as necessary, under the terms of the Collective Agreement and the Substitute Teacher agreement.  The Division will deduct Manitoba Teachers’ Society fees from the salaries of Substitute Teachers when requested to do so, in writing, by individual Substitute Teachers.  Such fees will be remitted to the Manitoba Teachers’ Society in the usual way.

A school board may, in the case of an emergency, appoint an unqualified person to teach as prescribed by the guidelines and permit application process of the Professional Certification Unit .
