Under its Capital Support Program, monies are approved and provided by the Provincial Capital Planning Department to encourage school divisions to perform maintenance that will prolong the life of building components to prevent major capital expenditures in the future. This capital grant (Section D) is spent at the discretion of the School Division on eligible minor capital projects.
