Section E: Operations (Property and Transportation)
The management of the transportation services shall be the responsibility of the Transportation Supervisor. Reports will be presented periodically to the Board by the Supervisor.
It shall be the goal of the Prairie Spirit School Division to provide a safe and efficient student transportation system for the curricular and extra-curricular programs of the School Division.
The Supervisor is empowered by the Board to interview and recommend personnel for this area of responsibility to the Board, and to attend to the acquisition and maintenance of equipment as governed by the Board and the budget.
The student transportation system shall operate in accordance with the requirements of the Public Schools Act, the Province of Manitoba Highway Traffic Act, and the policies and regulations of the Prairie Spirit School Division.
