A great place to start it to have a conversation with your students current math teacher. You can also contact the Math Department Chair, Mr. Ed Hickey, he can provide additional details about the course. If your student decides they prefer to take a Honors or CP level, that change can be made.

Students can fulfill the required 40 hours of community service in a number of ways. At the high school we have a Community Service Advisor who assists students in finding opportunities, assists with logging hours and works with members of our community.
Yes, students can enroll in two math classes. Common examples are during 10th grade students may enroll in Algebra II and Geometry and in 11th or 12th grade students may take Pre-Calculus and Statistics.
Yes, please register for classes in the event that your students returns to Pentucket Regional High School.
Concert Band and Orchestra are year-long courses that fulfill the Fine and Performing Arts requirement of 5 credits.
Yes, students can work with the World Language Department Chair to explore other opportunities. An example is enrolling in a American Sign Language (ASL) course through the Virtual High School Collaborative.
Students are responsible for their own transportation between the two campuses.
This varies by grade level. Ninth grade students will choose two (2) electives. In a seven period day they will be enrolled in:
English
Math
Science
Social Studies
Foreign Language
Wellness 9 (1/2 year course) and Writing Lab (1/2 year course)
Electives ( two (2) semester courses or one (1) year long course)
Unfortunately, at this time it will not be offered during the summer.
School Counselors meet with students individually throughout the year. Counselors also work with students in the classroom by grade level on a variety of topics including career planning, organization, post-secondary planning and time management. Additionally, students can meet with their counselor as often as they would like.
