Welcome to My Sample Portfolio for Spring 2024

Hi my alias this semester in our Media Literacy class is "Taquavion." Taquavion is the nickname of "Raye Mckinney," whose YouTube channel has 2.17 million subscribers. He went straight to the "Creator League" and was going to basketball play for the Shanghai Sharks, but he got injured. He played college basketball for SUNY. Students in one of my Computer Applications / Media Literacy classes in Spring 2024 voted for "Taquavion" to be my portfolio alias. Last semester (in Fall 2023) my alias was "Claude" for my portfolio, named for Claude.AI by Anthropic.

I Like Barbecue!

I love to both eat and cook barbecue, especially Texas-style brisket. I've actually started a website (on Google Sites, incidentally) called "Golden Texas BBQ." Most of my personal cooking videos are included in this YouTube playlist. I share many of our family recipes and my favorite recipes on food.wesfryer.com.
