Beginning on September 28th, students will have the opportunity to participate in a service specific to their division. Service, whether done remotely or in the classroom, will support organizations such as Freedom School Partners, Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, and PDS Cares. These initiatives will help to further strengthen our existing local non-profit partnerships while also providing our PD community the opportunity to put our sense of social responsibility into action.
Join the PD Art teachers as they assist you in the creation of a soup bowl in support of the incredible work being done at Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
Whether living locally or internationally, it is our hope that all alumni join us in participating in the Worldwide Week of Service. We encourage alumni to participate in a service opportunity that’s right for them in their city the week of September 28.
The Worldwide Week of Service will be capped off with a community wide Day of Service on Saturday, October 3. We encourage all members of our community to participate in a service project of their choice whether it be individually or as a family. Please explore the SHARE CHARLOTTE website to find your next amazing volunteer opportunity.
Join the crew of families that are ready to assist our campus community!
Please consider providing a meal to a PD family that could use our support and kindness during a difficult period. You can sign up for as little as one meal or multiple meals! It is something that doesn’t have to take up much time, but has a tremendous impact on people. Families who receive these meals are so incredibly thankful for the thoughtfulness and support. Share your kindness, one meal at a time
