Our school

The Institut de la Providence de Champion is an old castle built in the 1770s by a Lord of Champion. In 1836 it was bought by Monsignor Jean-Baptiste Kinet. After only one month, the Sisters of Providence transformed it into a school for girls. Today, after 186 years, our magnificent school continues its activity with a mixed student body and welcomes more than 1250 students.

The objectives of our institution are many. First of all, the most important thing is to offer everyone an environment in which they feel good and can be themselves. Where they feel listened to and understood.

Secondly, creativity is emphasised. For us, nothing is impossible if we can dream it.

Ecology is also a very important goal in our school. We have set up projects such as rainwater harvesting, replacement of lamps with LEDs, we have organised climate events during the Erasmus+ project MEGA, but we also raised awareness about Europe among students and participation in different projects.
