"Empowering the next generation of broadcasters through a 20-year legacy of excellence."
At Provet TV, we believe that education shouldn't end at graduation. For two decades, our program has served as a launchpad for storytellers, technicians, and leaders. Today, we are formalizing that legacy through our Circular Mentorship Model. This initiative creates a professional bridge between our alumni—now industry leaders in major media markets—and the students currently climbing the "Producer’s Ladder.
Our alumni return to the classroom as mentors, providing real-world critiques, virtual newsroom tours, and industry insights. They don’t just share advice; they help shape the professional standards of our daily broadcasts.
Current students gain direct access to a network of Anchors, Directors, Producers and other Professionals. They learn to receive professional feedback and master the high-pressure workflows required in modern journalism.
The cycle continues. As our seniors graduate and enter the workforce, they do so with the expectation and commitment to return and mentor the students following in their footsteps.
Join the Mentor Network
We know our alumni are busy working, leading, and providing across the country. That’s why we’ve designed the mentorship program to be flexible. Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour, you can make a difference.
Virtual Newsroom Q&A: Join a class via Zoom for a quick 15-minute "Day in the Life" session.
The Reel Critique: Review a student’s segment or the crew's show and provide professional "feedback."
Portfolio Review: Help a Senior Producer polish their final reel before they head to college or the workforce.
On-Site Workshops: If you’re in town, visit the studio to lead a hands-on technical session and/or share memories and experiences.
