World Strides recommends $50 - $100 for souvenirs. In the past, our students have traveled with and spend around $200. Meals are covered within the original trip price, so this money would be solely for snacks and souvenirs. Students should discuss what they consider a reasonable amount of spending money with their parents. Debit/Credit cards as well as phone apps work well. Having some small bills in cash is great for that quick need for water or a snack.
Tip money is broken up into two amounts:
World Strides tour guide $20/ student
Transportation driver $15/ per student
That's = $35/per student
The $35 for tips will be due at the Parent meeting on May 19, 2027.
