comments from the Survey

The following are anonymous responses from the Protection With Grace, LLC. survey. These real-world questions and concerns are why this company was founded. We want to help.

"Would like to get Guidelines for lock down inside and outside incidents. Dealing with strangers entering with backpacks, procedure for hostile congregant...etc"

This is exactly why PWG was developed and we are set up to help you with issues. Having strangers come in with large backpacks should be a concern. How to handle hostile congregants or visitors is real life and every Church will deal with that scenario at one time or another.

"How to best others interested in security."

I think the statement was meant to say, "How to get others interested in security?" When you work with PWG, we will discuss how to get more involved with the security needs and show you methods to get the congregation involved without hitting the panic button. Security should not be an overwhelming dread, but just another aspect of life. Much like we protect our children, it just comes naturally to us.

"We need a security plan"

I 100% agree. Not having a plan is not a plan. It is more simple than you would imagine. Not every Church needs a hired company to protect them. But every Church needs to understand the basics.

"I don't have extensive knowledge of my church's security protocols."

Most people do not. Most Church security teams I have been involved with, either through my personal experience or through PWG, are based on volunteers with little knowledge of security protocols. And, if your Church has security protocols and those are not being shared, I would ask your leadership team to help educate the congregation.
