Apply HERE for an Excellence & Innovation Grants!
Complete and submit your application during the application window. Be sure to answer all questions thoughtfully and demonstrate how your idea aligns with the grant priorities.
After the application window closes, Prosper Education Foundation and Prosper ISD review all submissions to ensure they meet program requirements, align with district priorities, and are ready for community review.
Applicants whose proposals do not advance will receive an email with feedback or the reason(s) their application was not selected to move forward.
Qualified applications are evaluated by trained community volunteers using a standardized scoring rubric. Reviewers assess innovation, impact, implementation, sustainability, and alignment with grant priorities.
The Prosper Education Foundation Programs Committee reviews the highest-scoring applications and makes final funding decisions. Recommendations consider reviewer scores, overall impact, innovation, available funding, and the balance of projects funded across the district.
Grant recipients are surprised during our annual Prize Patrol in December as Prosper Education Foundation visits campuses to announce and celebrate this year's funded projects.
The Together We Champion grant category is specifically designed to align with the foundational district commitment that all students must learn at high levels. Projects funded under this category must clearly demonstrate how they will directly support enhanced student academic performance and success. A primary focus for this grant stream is the development and implementation of high-impact strategies that strengthen professional learning communities (PLCs), ensuring educators have the time, resources, and collaborative structure necessary to analyze student data, refine instructional practices, and guarantee equitable outcomes for every learner.
The Together We Cultivate grant category is rooted in Prosper ISD's commitment to fostering meaningful connections and creating a strong sense of belonging for every student, staff member, and family. As our district continues to grow, we remain dedicated to preserving the close-knit, supportive culture that makes Prosper special. Projects funded through this category should intentionally strengthen relationships, build community, and create opportunities for individuals to feel known, valued, and connected. Successful proposals will demonstrate a clear plan for cultivating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. This includes initiatives that foster robust mentor relationships, support the Profile of a Learning Leader, positive behavioral interventions, and strengthen the overall culture of care that defines the learning environment.
The Together We Empower grant category is established to directly support the district's core commitment to prioritizing the physical, mental, and emotional wellness of all students and staff members. In Prosper ISD, we believe that the people are what make Prosper ISD incredible. Projects within this category must be explicitly designed to foster a healthy, thriving, and resilient workforce by addressing staff well-being in comprehensive and proactive ways. This includes initiatives that reduce professional stressors, promote work-life balance, enhance collaborative working conditions, and provide resources that support the overall vitality and sustained professional excellence of our educators and support personnel.
The Together We Prosper grant category is closely tied to the district's commitment to unite the entire Prosper community and foster a deep, pervasive sense of Prosper Pride. Projects funded under this pillar must articulate a clear strategy to deepen partnerships with parents and the broader community to amplify the district's mission. This category seeks to support initiatives that not only celebrate the collective successes of students and staff but also cultivate a vibrant spirit of pride, belonging, and shared stewardship that extends meaningfully beyond the classroom walls and permeates the wider community.
Every great grant begins with a meaningful idea and a clear plan. Use this planning guide to organize your thinking before completing the Excellence & Innovation Grant application.
