Complete the reading challenges with the help of a parent/guardian to earn your badges. Be sure to fill out the Google Form for each badge you complete.

Read a book in the park, in your backyard, under a tree, or anywhere outside!
Read a book with a pet. This pet can be a cat, dog, fish, bunny, bird, or stuffed animal. Any type of pet counts!
Read a book with a friend, a sibling, a parent/guardian, or grandparent.
Read an eBook in Overdrive/Sora. Overdrive/Sora is in the PISD portal or is available by downloading the Sora app. Overdrive/Sora is available 24/7.
Listen to an audiobook that you checked out from Overdrive/Sora or a library digital program. Overdrive/Sora is in the PISD portal or is available by downloading the Sora app. Overdrive/Sora is available 24/7.
Visit a public library (links below). Read a book at the library or check it out to take home. If you don't have a library card, borrow a book from a friend.
Read a book from a genre that is new to you (fantasy, realistic fiction, historical fiction, sports fiction, mystery, scary, graphic novel, biography, adventure, humor) or Read a picture book that is new to you.
Read a Texas Honor Book. Some of these reads are on Overdrive/Sora.
Read a nonfiction book. (Expository nonfiction, Narrative nonfiction, Biography, Procedural (how-to), any type of nonfiction).
