The program allows students to earn college credit while in high school through the Tarleton Today Dual Enrollment Program. We are thrilled that you are taking this exciting step toward your future by partnering with Prosper ISD and Tarleton State University for the 2026-2027 school year.
Through this program, you will have the unique opportunity to earn college credit directly applicable to your undergraduate degree, all while fulfilling your high school graduation requirements. Our students are taught by Prosper ISD teachers. A unique and flexible benefit of Tarleton Today is the ability for students to accept or decline the college credit and grade at the end of the course—a feature not available in traditional dual credit programs. Accepting the credit will result in an official Tarleton State University transcript reflecting their achievement.
By challenging yourself with college-level coursework, you will not only save time and money on your future education, but you will also gain valuable confidence in your academic abilities.
Because you are enrolled as a Tarleton State student, you will receive wonderful benefits, including access to university tutoring, fine arts events, and academic support. You will be supported every step of the way by your dedicated high school teachers and Tarleton professors, ensuring a smooth transition into college-level academics.
Students enrolled in Instructional Practices 1 (aka Ready, Set, Teach !) will have the opportunity to earn up to 9 College Credit hours with Tarleton.
