1.FIRST please make sure all of your application steps are submitted to our registrar, at Richland-Registrar@prosper-isd.net

2. COLLECT YOUR DOCUMENTS: You will want to have a copy of your child's unofficial transcript (or even a report card from each year they earned high school credit) when you come to orientation. Many schools are closed over the summer and will not send records, and we can only enroll students in classes based on the documentation we have. YOU WILL UPLOAD THIS TO YOUR ORIENTATION RSVP FOR COUNSELOR REVIEW. Without documentation, your student may have to enroll in a course previously taken until documentation is received, as mandated prerequisites apply.

- EARLY BIRD ORIENTATION - for ALL GRADE LEVEL students who have completed enrollment by May 22, 2026, you can be first in line to meet with a counselor and lock in your classes. This orientation is May 28, 2025 at 1pm in the Richland High School cafeteria, and gives your student the best opportunity to have access to desired courses. Space will be limited.
- INCOMING 9th GRADE - July 23rd at 9am in the Richland High School cafeteria
- INCOMING 10th GRADE - July 23rd at 1pm in the Richland High School cafeteria
- INCOMING 11th/12th GRADE - July 22nd at 9am in the Richland High School cafeteria
- LATE OR MAKE UP - All grade levels August 3rd at 9am in the Richland HS LGI
4. PLAN: Please take a look at our 2026-2027 High School course guide to identify some courses that interest your student, it is linked HERE. Then if you need help planning, here is a Google form planning document to help you. This is NOT binding, and only there to support you in your planning of courses. You will still need to complete step 5 below to get courses to your student's schedule.

**NOTE: Students you will not be able to access your own Skyward account until early August. You will select courses through your parent's account**
