26-27 ELEMENTARY UIL SIGN-UPS

We are VERY excited about our students having the opportunity to participate in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) A+ Academics Competition. 

Students who are interested in learning about, practicing, and competing in these events will need to start prepping NOW for the events they are interested in at home. The prep information can be found at a link at www.prosper-isd.net/uilacademics  

In October, we will have our first contests based upon what you have learned from what we shared on the prep site and anything else that was found to study. The 10 students in each grade level in each event at each campus scoring the highest will advance to the Competition Team for the campus. 

This group will attend weekly practices. Active participation and attendance at practices will be very important. The top four (4) students in each event, in each grade level will advance to the zone meet in February based upon performances in practice. FAfter that, coaches will use tournament performance and practice performance and attendance to determine which four (4) students will advance to the district team.

You will be able to indicate areas of interest for your student.  Please keep in mind that there may be conflicts with practice and/or competition times, and it may not be possible to participate in multiple events.
