We are excited to see our scholars on August 24th, 2020 at 8:30 am. Please see the attached schedule for virtual instruction using an iPad. Students will have two blocks of live instruction through the Microsoft Teams platform each day, with independent Seesaw work built in.

Scholars will start the day by logging into their Seesaw accounts through Clever (or directly through the app.) Once inside

Seesaw, students will find the link to join our live classroom. When the block of live instruction ends, students will venture into their Seesaw account for the day’s academic tasks. During this time, the educator will be active in Seesaw to field any questions or concerns. We will also use this time to give feedback on scholar work.

The scholar will join via link to the afternoon live instruction through Seesaw after an independent lunch and play break. Monday through Thursday’s schedule is consistent, with some minor changes to Friday (including only one live session of instruction.) Educators will be teaching from home on Friday, ensuring our building can be properly cleaned.

We are excited to increase engagement in the home during this virtual learning experience, and ask for your patience as we tackle new tech challenges that may arise. Expect to see and hear from the entire Second Grade Team as we join in learning adventures together!
