MTSA Syracuse
The Moorish Science Temple of America, Inc. is a religious and civic organization founded in 1913 by Noble Drew Ali, dedicated to the uplifting of fallen humanity. Through its teachings, the organization emphasizes personal responsibility, moral development, civic duty, and the importance of becoming productive, law-abiding citizens who contribute positively to American society.
Subordinate Temple #10, located in Syracuse, continues this mission at the local level by engaging in community-based initiatives and educational efforts. The Temple serves individuals and families throughout Oneida County, Onondaga County, Herkimer County, and the surrounding areas.
In alignment with these principles, Subordinate Temple #10 sponsors the Project Me Foundation without obligation, supporting civic-based classes and youth development programming designed to foster discipline, self-awareness, and community engagement. This sponsorship is provided in a voluntary, community-support capacity only and does not constitute a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship, nor does it create any expectation or promise of financial compensation, material benefit, or other gain. All activities supported are intended to remain fully compliant with applicable 501(c)(3) guidelines and are carried out exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
Syracuse Kung Fu
Syracuse Kung Fu is a traditional martial arts school in Syracuse, New York, founded in 2004 by Sifu Sharif Anael-Bey and rooted in the Hung Ga Kung Fu lineage, emphasizing discipline, self-development, and cultural education.
As a key community partner of Project Me Foundation Inc., Syracuse Kung Fu provides instructors for the Young Shaolin Alternative to Violence Youth Empowerment Program, delivering mentorship, martial arts training, and conflict resolution skills to support at-risk youth.
Through its programs, cultural demonstrations, and community outreach, Syracuse Kung Fu promotes confidence, resilience, non-violence, and leadership, serving as a hub for empowerment and personal growth in Central New York.
Finally Focused Films
Finally Focused Films is a media production company dedicated to authentic storytelling that reflects real-life experiences and community voices. As a key community partner of Project Me Foundation Inc., they provide hands-on instruction for the Film & Media component of the Project Me Pathways Program, equipping youth with practical skills in videography, editing, and visual storytelling.
Through a structured, real-world approach, participants gain direct exposure to the creative process; from concept development to production, while learning how to use media as a tool for self-expression and positive impact.
Their portfolio includes the documentary Sorry Mama and the television series Young Gawdz, available on Tubi, demonstrating their commitment to culturally grounded storytelling and professional-level production.
As a partner, Finally Focused Films helps bridge creativity and opportunity, empowering young people to develop both technical skills and a voice through media.
Street Addiction Institute Inc.
SAII is a 501c3 not-for-profit agency, established in 2015 to address the causes and consequences of neighborhood violence.
At Street Addiction Institute, Inc., their team is dedicated to transforming lives through the implementation of non-traditional and research based approaches to address the complex issues of street addictive behaviors and trauma induced by neighborhood conflict.
Their mission is to empower the community by providing the tools and education to encourage a brighter and more hopeful future.
Oneida County Probation Department
The primary mandate of the Oneida County Probation Department is to ensure public safety and to monitor the behavior of its assigned Offenders. The most important issue for this department is to work dutifully and tirelessly for Offender accountability.
