Pro-health Water Technologies (Singapore), a leader in advanced water remineralization, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NINZIA Inc., a texture engineering startup pioneering a new style of food solutions (Chuo-ku, Kobe; CEO: Masahiro Yoritama)
Through this partnership, both companies will embark on joint research efforts to enhance NINZIA PASTE—a next-generation konjac-based ingredient—by optimizing water mineral composition for improved texture, nutritional stability, and health benefits.
Purpose of the MOU: Advancing Functional Food through Water Science
The primary goal of this MOU is to integrate Pro-health Water Technologies’ expertise in precision mineral control into the formulation of a healthier, more functional version of NINZIA PASTE.
NINZIA PASTE is a konjac-based food binder made primarily of water and konjac flour. Research indicates that water composition directly affects the ingredient's texture, stability, and potential health benefits. By testing different remineralization parameters, the collaboration will determine the optimal water conditions to enhance:
Nutrient Absorption – Improving bioavailability of essential minerals in functional foods and beverages.
Food Binding Stability – Enhancing ingredient cohesion for better structural integrity in plant-based products.
Blood Sugar Regulation – Potential applications in diabetes-friendly food formulations.
Scalability & Market Applications – Expanding the use cases of NINZIA PASTE in vegan meat, sugar-free snacks, and fortified beverages.
