Upcoming Meetings (7-8:30pm at Trinity):

July 31: Fishing at Turner Pond

Grab your fishing pole and bait to head out to Turner Pond and come fishing. Additional fishing poles will also be provided. Uniform is class B. The meeting will be starting at 6:30 PM.

Upcoming Events:

August 4-6: Taste of Roselle.

The Taste of Roselle is coming to town and the Roselle Chamber of Commerce has once again asked Troop 408 to help with set-up and take down of tables & chairs in 2 tents. We will meet at the Chamber Office at 17 Howard Ave., Roselle on Friday at Noon to help load the truck with supplies and then unload at the Bingo Tent. Take down of tables and chairs will take place on Sunday around 8:00pm. Meet at the Bingo Tent. We will then load up the truck and unload at the Chamber Office. The Chamber is very generous with a donation to the Troop. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the Monday night Troop Meetings.

The Dunk Tank is a big hit at the Taste and scouts will have an opportunity to be dunked. I will post a sign-up sheet for each day of the Taste.

Adult Volunteers are always needed in the Bingo Tent. I will post the Volunteer Form as soon as it is available. Also, I will be calling Children’s Bingo Saturday and Sunday, 1:30pm-2:45. If any scout would like to help or play Bingo, please let me know. Everyone is a winner in the Children’s Bingo Tent.

Next Outing:

June 23-25: Devils Lake - Hiking, Fishing, and Astronomy.
