Act II
Now on the run, Bonnie and Clyde begin a spree of robberies. Their crimes grow more dangerous, and they gain fame as outlaws. Bonnie becomes conflicted but stays by Clyde’s side. The couple’s letters inspire Buck to reunite with them, despite Blanche’s protests.

As the gang’s crimes escalate, so does the law’s pursuit. A shootout at a hideout leaves Buck fatally wounded and Blanche captured. The police, tipped off by Bonnie’s mother, prepare an ambush. Realizing their time is running out, Bonnie and Clyde share a final moment of peace.

They are killed in a police ambush on a rural road in Louisiana.
