About the College
EASWARI ENGINEERING COLLEGE, a unit of SRM Group of Educational Institutions for higher learning is functioning under “Valliammai Society”. The society was founded in the year 1975, for promoting the cause of Quality Education, by Dr.T.R.Paarivendhar, an Academician and Educationist. EEC was instituted in the academic year 1996-1997, with the Approval of AICTE, New Delhi. Dr. R. Shivakumar is our Chairman. The college is affiliated to Anna University, since 2002. The courses have been accredited by NBA. The College offers Eight Undergraduate and Six Postgraduate Programmes covering Engineering & Technology and Management. The college has a strong Industry-Interaction with reputed National and International organizations. The College has obtained ISO 9001:2015 Certification from TUV South Asia.
About the Department
The Department of Mathematics was started in December 1996 catering to the needs of Engineering Departments. Over the years since inception of the College, the Department has grown in tune with the demands of the Institution and improved its strength. The Department handles the Mathematics papers for UG & PG Courses. In order to update the current developments in the field of Mathematics, the department has been organizing conferences and seminars. To compete with the International standards, research on Functional and Complex Analysis, Graph Theory, Stochastic Processes, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Automata Theory, Fuzzy Set Theory, Stability analysis of functional equations are being carried out and the results are published as articles in Internationally refereed Journals. The department has published more than 75 research articles in the refereed Journals. The department successfully conducted two National Conferences and has published the conference proceeding with ISBN number.
Objectives of NCRTPAM
The National Conference on Recent Trends in Pure and Applied Mathematics (NCRTPAM-2018) will be held in Easwari Engineering College, Chennai, Tamilnadu during 9th and 10th November, 2018. The conference looks for significant contributions to all major fields of Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. It is a prestigious event organized with a motivation to provide an excellent national platform for the leading academicians, researchers, industrial participants and budding students around the national to share their research findings with the global experts. We hope that the outcome of the NCRTPAM-2018 will lead to significant contributions to the knowledge base in these up-to-date scientific developments in various mathematical fields in scope.
