This is my first proper render of something I 3D modelled and textured in Blender, I also animated the donut on the plate sliding into view. This was a project we did in college where we watched a YouTube tutorial and recreated it ourselves.
However, I went the extra mile and did all four levels instead of just the first one and therefore excelled in my class.
The YouTube video to the left is an animation of a donut sliding on a table and resting next to a coffee cup. Everything in this I 3D modelled in Blender myself, the donut, coffee, plates, etc.
My current 3D modelling project is of the famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. As this is for my final piece in college, it has a separate website where I shall be posting updates on what I am doing and how I am doing it. You can find that website here.
This is the YouTube playlist I have created which contains all of the videos I made whilst modelling the Golden Gate Bridge. This includes the speed build videos where I have sped up footage of me building key parts of the project, as well as the final render and animation.
The 5 R's is about how you can minimise your waste produced. This was my first model/image that I created for somebody's website. Their website is called SustainabilityDad and this image has gone in the waste section.
This is a small wooden row boat that I created for my bigger project of the Golden Gate Bridge. It is a small detail and only took 15-20 minutes to make, as I created it all from scratch, learning on the way, however when you see it in the bigger picture, it adds depth and life to the main render of the bridge.
You can find more details on this on my website for The Golden Gate Bridge and going to the boat section.
These early 20th Century lantern and oil tank are designed for my new upcoming game I'm creating set just before the First World War.
This is the lamp as; 1) The initial render in Blender, 2) After I imported it into Unreal Engine 4, and 3) Once I put it into my game with my character, fully animated and lit up.
This is also the oil bottle/tank I created which you pick up and replenishes oil to your lamp.
I have also made a wooden door and various walls. These consist of; outer walls, inner walls, corner walls, doorway walls and more.
Then there's also the floors and ceilings to go inside the building that I'm creating for my game.
All of these components are to make up a late 19th century/ early 20th century neuroscience ('mental') hospital.
These are the main stairs in my game, that go up through the middle of the hospital.
Still for my game, I have also created various lights to go around the hospital, still with the old and creepy theme.
This one is a wall lamp to go in the corridors.
What the wall lamps look like 'in-game' mixed with the wall, floor and ceiling.
Still sticking with my game and the same themes, I have now created an old hospital bed.
I've also created tombstones to go in a cemetery outside of the hospital. I have a blank one as the template, and then I can add writing on, such as names and dates, when and where I want to.
The special book in which you can pull to open up a hidden bookshelf door.
