Global Wedding Network

A KPMG report in 2017 suggested that the Wedding Industries of India and USA together clocked a whopping 120 billion USD! These numbers would have to be twice over, at the least, if all the countries are considered. However, it is disappointing to know that the Wedding Industry in most parts of the world gets categorized as an unorganized sector.

Global Wedding Network LLP (GWN) has been established with the intention of correcting this trend in the wedding industry to the last mile of its existence. With Internet now reaching the remotest region, we understand that technology along with the right education promoting Quality is the way forward in bringing the change. While we are at it, we also intend to spread the practice of Colla-petition ("Collaborative Competition") in the Wedding Fraternity, thus ensuring a healthy business environment enabling a win-win scenario for all stakeholders involved!

We envision, as put in our vision statement, to be remembered by all the wedding business owners world over as the go-to platform with who they can share all their moments of business life, triumphs or failures. We want to be a friend for good times and a mentor for the bad ones.

In the process, we would love to be recognized as the the search engine platform for all the wedding vendor related search enquiries across the world. Through this, we wish to help establish quick inter-city collaborations leading to increase in the number of destination weddings, thus resulting in increased revenues and jobs creation.

How We Started

GWN started off as Wedding Network - Karnataka (WN - KA) through Whatsapp with the idea of strengthening the cross district ties among the Wedding Fraternity , of Karnataka. On the 19th of April 2019, we drove one meetup for the fraternity in Taj MG Road, Bengaluru and to our surprise, the response seemed overwhelming. We later took into consideration the other 5 states of South India and rechristened as Wedding Network South India. Eventually we setup our launch meetups in Chennai at Ambassador Pallava , Kochi – Taj Malabar and Hyderabad –Taj Begumpet.

Our intention was to spread this energy across the other regions within and outside the country and promote the spirit of collaborations. This desire to get to the next level resulted in us activating the registered entity, Global Wedding Network LLP (GWN).

We are as on date a strong community with participation from India, UAE and Italy and we are growing as we speak.
